ABR Viewer for Mac user. Preview your brushes with it!

Many of my reader might know already about it though, finally, we, Mac user can preview brushes without loading them in Photoshop but the ABR Viewer!!
If you have lots of brushes like me, you might have wanted to view all brushes that you have at a time without slowing down your computer. The standalone software ABR viewer generates a small thumbnail preview your brushes, no matter how many, so you don’t have to go through each brush to see whether you want to use it or not.

Windows users have been able to do it with the ABR viewer for long time but it has been not available for Mac users, but finally, thanks to Robert Redwood, we can finally download Mac and Linux version from easyelements.com for free.
This is definitely grate time saver and if you have many brushes you can’t miss it!
Cheers!

thankyou thankyou thankyou!!! from london : )
Just knowing that there is a PS Brushes viewer available is great. What would be greater, for me any way, is having the knowledge on how to make it work. I am new to MAC having had it with WIN O/S. Can some one provide info on how to get the viewer to work.
Many thanks for any help provided.
Thank you so much for your information about this so-nice software. I am in need of such application too. It’s available on Windows too.
Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww.This is wht i waz looking for.Thanx a lot.
Great, finally in progress for the Mac
I would actually pay money for it, if it would save the preferences and remembers the selected folders.
Thank you very much for this review! It’s a long time I was looking for this tool for Mac.
BTW: Great Site!
It would be nicer with a better GUI
I can’t get it to work at all on my MacBookPro Intel with OSX.5!!!! I navigate to a brush folder and the abr files are greyed out. Anyone know how I can get it to work?
So cool. Thanks
Anyone get this to work on an Intel MacBookPro with OSX 10.5 yet? This app is a must for any designer.
this doesn’t work for me…
not very intuitive…select a folder and nothing loads
This viewer first drove me mad since I could not get it to work at all but then by accident did it the right way.
You have to select the folder that CONTAINS the brushes do NOT navigate into the folder since it will not work and shows nothing.
You then double click the directory and then you get the list of brushes inside the folder below and THEN you double click that brush set to open it in the viewer.
I hope this helps someone to avoid my problems.
But I do agree the interface is rather archaic but hey this is the only brush viewer there is on mac and it is for FREE.
Thanks for doing this app and please do keep up the good work.
Karl
Thank you karl! i was trying to figure this out and you are right, you have to have the brushes folder selected but not opened and then you click Add.
verefied as working on intel mac 10.5.6
thanks
